This Sunday is the Achilles Hope & Possibility 4 miler in Central Park.
The race celebrates disability inclusion with the goal of empowering those with disabilities to participate in sports.
Francesco Magisano, director of the Achilles NYC Metro region and an elite para triathlete, joined “News All Day” on Wednesday to discuss more about the race and the importance of inclusion.
The race focuses on being more inclusive with braille bibs and race medals with braille as well.
Jon Stewart and Tiki Barber are participating in the race. Barber is running with Magisano.
Achilles International has chapters around the city, and there are workouts that anyone can join every day.
