Brynn Heller is proving that advocacy work is not just for grownups.
The 17-year-old New Yorker just received the Girl Scouts’ 2022 Future Woman of Distinction award for her work to get the Hudson Canyon designated as a marine sanctuary.
Heller joined “News All Day” on Women Wednesday to talk more about her advocacy work.
She says that, “just because you might be younger doesn’t mean you can’t have a great impact. If you care deeply about an issue, you should definitely speak up about it.”
