From navigating a maze to assisting the infamous pizza rat to solving a puzzle centered on city pigeons, the activities reflect the daily challenges and quirks of New York City living.

The venture is the result of the popular Instagram account "What is New York," which boasts over 2 million followers and more across other social media platforms.

Known for its candid portrayal of the city through the lens of New Yorkers, the account's creator, Rick McGuire, joined "Mornings On 1" Friday to offer some insights into the inspiration behind the activity book.
