Jeremy Saland, a former assistant district attorney with the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office, joined “Mornings On 1” Tuesday to discuss the civil trial of former President Donald Trump.
Trump took the stand Monday in the civil fraud case brought against him and the Trump organization by New York state Attorney General Letitia James.
The former president is accused of inflating his net worth by billions to secure more favorable loans and insurance policies.
James brought forward the charged and has been the repeated target of attacks from Trump, including in the courtroom Monday. Trump also, at times, sparred with the judge as he defended the value of his business and real estate portfolio.
His sons, Eric and Don Jr., testified last week, while his daughter, Ivanka, is scheduled to testify Wednesday.
