In her new book, “Yogurt & Whey: Recipes of an Iranian Immigrant Life,” author Homa Dashtaki shares more than 100 recipes that honor her family’s past in Iran and California and the present in New York City.

In the book, Dashtaki pays homage to the two ingredients in its title and reflects on how they’ve guided her personal and professional life.

She joined “Mornings On 1” Wednesday to share more about what inspired her cookbook and to taste samples of recipes that anchor Jamie Stelter baked.
