NYPD officials this week said they are making progress in reducing crime in the city’s subway system.
In a new video released by the department, Commissioner Keechant Sewell credited the reduction to changes made to subway deployments that were put in place in January.
Months later, Chief of Department Ken Corey and Transit Chief Jason Wilcox say the deployments have been working.
The two joined “Mornings On 1” anchor Pat Kiernan on Friday to discuss the drop in crime and what all patrol officers are doing to help.
