Today Albany lawmakers will take up the issue of police reform.

They’ll be looking to abolish 50-A, a state law that has been used to prevent the public release of the disciplinary records of law enforcement officials, including members of the NYPD.

State Senator Jamaal Bailey is one of the sponsors of the bill to repeal 50-A. He joined Mornings On 1 via Skype.
