As fears of the coronavirus continue to grow, businesses across the city are feeling the pressure.
The city is stepping in by offering some financial relief.
Businesses with one to five employees may qualify for direct cash grants up to $6,000, while those with five to 100 employees may qualify for no interest loans up to $75,000.
"We took a playbook from Hurricane Sandy and realized we needed to get capital to these businesses as quickly as possible," said Small Business Services Commissioner Gregg Bishop.
