Nothing says New York City food like pizza and bagels. And Mayor Bill de Blasio talked both on Mornings On 1.

After hearing New Jersey proclaim itself the "pizza capital of the world," the mayor was quick to call New York the best in the nation for the food. 

And while most locals would agree with his stance on pizza, they stand divided on his bagel order. 

Previously, de Blasio tweeted his bagel order, and comments poured in challenging his decision to toast his bagels. While some shunned the idea altogether, others said toasting was reserved for bagels that aren't fresh. Of course, he had his fair share of supporters, which he was not shy to point out when Mornings On 1 brought him a toasted bagel live on air.
