It’s been 27 years since the television sitcom series “Mad About You” first premiered.

Starring Helen Hunt and Paul Reiser, the show follows the Buchman’s -- a New York City couple navigating life as newlyweds.

The series ran for seven seasons, wrapping in 1999.

Now the show is making a comeback as part of a limited series on Spectrum Originals.

The revival picks up 20 years later with Hunt and Reiser in their original roles and back in their Greenwich Village apartment where it all began.

Our conversation started with the exterior views of that apartment -- which were shot on 12th Street and 5th Avenue in Manhattan.
