The primary election to choose the new Queens District Attorney is now just one week away.

Among the canddiates is Mina Malik. Her legal resume includes time as Special Counsel to Brooklyn District Attorney Ken Thompson, 15 years as a prosecutor in the Queens DA's office, and time as Executive Director of the Civilian Complaint Review Board.

She’s also held prosecutorial positions in Washington DC.
