"My district has the best food in New York state. No, the country."

That's what State Senator Jessica Ramos (D-13) has to say about New York's 13th Senate district. 

In her Know Your Electeds interview, Ramos talks about passing the Farm Workers Fair Labor Practices Act, which ensures protections for New York's farm workers. She says she ran for office because of her neighbors and her children. 

Ramos has served as a member of the New York Senate since 2019. How would Ramos describe her district in three words? "The future of America."
