Congress adopted a budget proposal Tuesday night along narrow margins.

House Republicans drafted the resolution, which includes $4.5 trillion in tax cuts and at least more than a trillion dollars in spending cuts.

Lawmakers are warning that Medicaid could face severe reductions.

This all comes as President Donald Trump’s administration moves ahead with widespread cuts to the federal workforce and as Republican lawmakers face push back from their constituents in town hall meetings.

He represents the neighborhoods of the Carnegie Hall, Upper West Side and Upper East Side and Midtown in Manhattan.
