The migrant shelter located at Floyd Bennett Field in Brooklyn has officially been closed.

On Saturday, Mayor Eric Adams visited the 2,000-bed shelter, which initially opened in the fall of 2023. It is just one of the 25 shelters the city is planning to close by March.

The city is set to close an additional 13 migrant shelters by June.

This all comes as the city prepares for the incoming Trump administration.

Anne Williams-Isom, deputy mayor of health and human services, and Camille Joseph Varlack, a newly appointed deputy mayor for administration, joined NY1 political reporter Bobby Cuza on “Inside City Hall” Monday to discuss more.
