There’s a little more than six months away from the primary, and several candidates are running to unseat Mayor Eric Adams.
Jim Walden, a former federal prosecutor and longtime attorney who’s been involved in a number of high-profile cases in the city, launched his campaign in November.
He joins a crowded field of candidates and is the rare mayoral hopeful to have never held public office. He also is an independent, registered in neither the Democratic nor Republican parties.
Walden joined NY1 political reporter Bobby Cuza on “Inside City Hall” Friday to talk about his bid for mayor.
