There were several high-acts of violence in the city’s subway system recently.

An MTA employee was stabbed at a Bronx subway station after getting into a dispute with another man, according to police. Meanwhile, a 23-year-old man is facing attempted murder charges after police say he shoved another man off a Manhattan subway platform and in front of a train on New Year’s Eve.

Officials said victim suffered serious injuries, and it comes after a woman was killed after being set on fire in a subway car on Dec. 22.

The violence underground has shaken New Yorkers and renewed questions about public safety in the subway system.

MTA Chief Security Officer Michael Kemper, who formerly served as chief of transit in the NYPD, joined NY1 political anchor Errol Louis on “Inside City Hall” Thursday to discuss more.
