Gov. Kathy Hochul announced a new plan to revive congestion pricing, but with a reduced fare.

According to Hochul, the plan is on track to launch on Jan. 5 of next year and comes after she abruptly paused the plan back in June.

MTA Chairman and CEO Janno Lieber joined NY1 political anchor Errol Louis on "Inside City Hall" Thursday to discuss more.

“We need to figure out the right way to approach it and the governor chose, in the end, the lowest toll that would satisfy the environmental requirements," he said.
