Mayor Eric Adams addressed concerns over his administration's clearing of migrant encampments on Randall's Island.

Last week, officials began to sweep the temporary tents set up outside of the 3,000-person migrant shelter on Randall's Island.

Many of the migrants staying there have already maxed out their allotted time in the city's shelters.

Now, the state is expanding the city's eviction powers and allowing it to give 60-day notices to any migrant family not receiving public assistance.

Murad Awawdeh, president and CEO of the New York Immigration Coalition, joined NY1 political reporter Bobby Cuza on “Inside City Hall” Tuesday to discuss more.
