There’s more than 80 days until the November election, and the presidential campaigns have been busy shoring up voter support.

This includes organized labor.

Since Tim Walz joined Kamala Harris on the Democratic ticket, the duo had met with unions across some key states.

Just this week, the National Black Caucus of the International Brotherhood of Teamsters endorsed Harris for president.

But the larger parent union has not yet weighed in on the race. Last month, Teamsters president Sean O’Brian spoke at the Republican National Convention and has said the union plans to endorse after both conventions are wrapped.

Greg Floyd joined NY1 political anchor Errol Louis on “Inside City Hall” Thursday to talk through the issues.

Floyd is the vice president at-large of the International Brotherhood of Teamsters and the president of Local 237, one of the city’s largest municipal unions.
