On Tuesday, Vice President Harris shored up more support, this time from the top Democrats in Congress.

House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries and Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer both endorsed her.

It comes as the Democratic National Convention is set to kick off in Chicago on Aug. 19.

A committee setting the party’s rules for the convention will meet virtually tomorrow to discuss the next steps.
