A new City Council bill that aims to increase transparency around the city’s efforts to crack down on illegal cannabis stores.

The legislation would require the Adams administration to publish quarterly reports about its enforcement activities, including details on the outcomes of each inspection.

Manhattan Councilmember Gale Brewer, who represents Manhattan’s Upper West Side and is the bill’s lead sponsor, joined NY1 political reporter Bobby Cuza on “Inside City Hall” Thursday to discuss more.

She also chairs the Council’s Committee on Oversight and Investigations.
