Mayor Eric Adams announced Wednesday the city would cancel a third round of budget cuts that would have taken effect in April.

It would have reduced most agencies’ budgets by 5%.

But because of lowering costs in migrant shelter stays and new limitations on migrant stays — set by the Adams administration — the city said it will save enough to not need any more budget cuts.

This, as Adams continues to face push back from the City Council for proposing such drastic cuts to begin with.

First Deputy Mayor Sheena Wright joined NY1 political anchor Errol Louis on “Inside City Hall” Thursday to discuss more.
