Mayor Eric Adams defended his latest executive order, preventing buses from showing up unannounced at Port Authority to drop of migrants.

Despite the mayor’s insistence, many of the migrants headed to the city have found ways to bypass the order.

The buses are reportedly stopping in transit centers across the river in New Jersey and giving migrants tickets to get to the city.

The mayor of Secaucus said about 1,000 migrants arrived in the town in the last week.

Amy Torres, the executive director of New Jersey Alliance for Immigrant Justice, the largest immigration coalition in the state, and Daniel Han, a reporter for Politico New Jersey, joined NY1 political anchor Errol Louis on “Inside City Hall” Wednesday to talk about New Jersey’s response.
