Success Academy, the city’s largest charter school network, is planning to implement a new learning initiative next September.
It is tweaking its current curriculum in hopes to better prepare students with skills they’ll need to succeed in college and life.
Eva Moskowitz, founder and CEO of Success Academy, joined NY1 political anchor Errol Louis on “Inside City Hall” Tuesday to discuss the new initiative.
“We have looked at the college courses and we have oriented and organized our high school so that the kids can major in math, science and engineering,” said Moskowitz.
There are about 20,000 students across the city that go to a Success Academy charter school.
Moskowitz also spoke about her new book, “A+ Parenting: The Surprisingly Fun Guide to Raising Surprisingly Smart Kids.”
