The House of Representatives approved the debt ceiling bill Wednesday night, even as a block of progressive congressional leaders and Rep. George Santos in the city voted against it.

Now, the bill heads to the U.S. Senate, where leaders are facing pressure to pass the deal as quickly as possible.
