Suburban counties push back on plan to relocate asylum seekers from city

The Adams administration has faced push back over its efforts to relocate some migrants to nearby suburban counties.

According to the Rockland County executive, three dozen counties outside of New York City have declared state of emergencies over Mayor Eric Adams' plan.

Joan Silvestri, commissioner of the Department of Social Services for Rockland County, joined NY1 political anchor Errol Louis on “Inside City Hall” Thursday to discuss more.
