Advocates and lawmakers are continuing to push their priorities on a tax increase on the wealthy while Gov. Kathy Hochul remains opposed to.

Invest in Our New York is calling on Hochul to increase taxes on New Yorkers earning more than $5 million per year and to use that money to fund universal healthcare, affordable housing and climate justice programs.

This all comes as billionaire and former Mayor Mike Bloomberg gave his support to Hochul earlier this week with a massive ad buy.
