Councilwoman Alexa Avilés joined Errol Louis on Monday's “Inside City Hall” to discuss Mayor Adams' newly announced housing agenda.
Avilés leads the council's public housing committee. She explained why some tenants feel their rights are unprotected under the New York City Housing Authority.
The two discussed the mayor's appointment of advocate Jessica Katz as his chief housing officer. They also dived into whether her team will deliver on tenant expectations while also simultaneously digging the city out of its housing crisis.
