President Joe Biden is calling on Congress to pass sweeping voting rights legislation that has stalled amid Republican opposition.
This comes as the White House is also focused on a massive infrastructure package and continues to push COVID-19 recovery efforts. As part of that, starting this week, families with children will begin receiving a child tax credit, a major relief for working families.

The congressman also weighed in on the outcome of the Democratic mayoral primary where Brooklyn Borough President Eric Adams emerged as the winner.
