In Focus celebrates the life and legacy of Martin Luther King Day, with a look at a country divided by COVID-19, income inequality, policing and politics.

Senator Chuck Schumer joins the program with the announcement of a new COVID-19 relief program, a deal made with the incoming Biden Administration that would bring $2 billion in COVID-19 relief to New York.

Schumer lays out the plan that would allow the city to use the money for anything COVID-related, including the vaccine rollout and help for small businesses. 

He talks about why more money will help keep New Yorkers healthy and solvent and could help get the vaccine into more arms.
