Jawan Jackson is one of the lucky ones, Broadway actors, that is.

He has a lot of interests outside his role as an actor in "Ain't Too Proud: The Life and Times of the Temptations."

And, he says, his company has been finding work for the show's actors, wherever they can.

But for a lot of his friends in the theatre, the going has been a lot tougher. Many have been forced to flee their New York City apartments for cheaper digs.

Though companies paid everyone a month's compensation and advanced them their vacation and sick time, that money has run out, and unemployment was on the brink.

Jawan Jackson joined In Focus to talk about how cast and crew members are struggling to make it through, the pain of seeing what for many was their "big break" disappear in a heartbeat.

And he'll stay with Cheryl as the first In Focus of 2021 plays out with a reminder of what we're all missing as the theaters remain closed.
