Fire Commissioner Robert Tucker discussed a recent report that found e-bike fires and deaths have gone down drastically since last year and said he believes it's due to public service announcements.
He said smoke alarms save lives during National Fire Prevention Week and shared how the FDNY is becoming greener due to climate change, starting with a transition to renewable diesel in all vehicles.
Tucker highlighted the work the FDNY incident management team and shared what it's doing to help with recovery efforts in North Carolina after Hurricane Helene.
