Jordan Wright recently won the Democratic primary election for the state Assembly seat representing Harlem.

He talked about how his role in his father Keith Wright's campaign helped guide him to the direction of public service. His grandfather, Bruce Wright, was also a well-known judge in the Harlem community.

Wright says his work on Councilman Yusef Salaam's campaign was a directive point in his career. Wright discussed gentrification and crime in Harlem, and how he wants to make a difference for young people who are priced out of their hometowns.
