Texas Gov. Greg Abbott discussed his RNC speech, which focused heavily on the border. He claimed there are three U.S. laws already on the books that President Biden is refusing to enforce.

Abbott said the laws require the president to deny illegal entry, detain anyone who enters illegally and build border barriers. He claimed Texas is following all three laws and illegal immigration is decreasing there, while going up in other states. Abbott said to expect an even more robust border security plan under Trump since he believes Democrats stand for open border policies.

Abbott also claims Americans are paying more for gas and groceries under Democrats. He claims Texas, which has no income tax, has led the country in economic development. Abbott says Texas is also strengthening the state’s power grid, with a plan to add 50% more power by 2030.
