Brooklyn Councilmember Farah Louis talked about the political turmoil in Haiti and what local lawmakers are doing to help remedy the situation.

New York has one of the highest Haitian populations in the U.S. and Louis discussed how families are concerned for their loved ones on the island.

She also detailed the recent City Hall event local legislators attended to help bring awareness to the violence in Haiti.
