Life Camp CEO Ford discussed the latest NYPD crime stats and how shootings have gone down this past year.

She also talked about how community efforts had to change after a spike in violence during the pandemic. Ford explained the work she is doing to help cannabis licensing for those previously incarcerated in relation to the drug.

She also discussed the upcoming peace week in the city and how she recently passed the torch to two new leaders in the LIFE Camp community.
