Manhattan Assemblymember Rebecca Seawright joined “In Focus” to talk about disabilities.

Seawright shared how Gov. Kathy Hochul has passed two pieces of legislation that help provide more equality rights for people with disabilities in the state.

The assemblymember also talked about the opioid crisis and overdose epidemic in New York.

Plus, she shared what she’s doing to help support mothers, as the state’s maternal mortality rate is too high.
