Ana Almanzar, the deputy mayor for strategic initiatives, joined "In Focus" to discuss early childhood education.

Almanzar shared her work on child care and the MyCity portal.

The deputy mayor also discussed the immigrant New York City dream and her own personal journey. Her family immigrated to the U.S. when Almanzar was a teenager.
