Pastor Louis Straker Jr., chairman of the 67th Precinct Clergy Council Inc., joined “In Focus” to explain street outreach.

The organization, also known as the God Squad, uses an interfaith approach to provide support resources and prevent retaliation efforts.

He also discussed the impact of having boots on the ground does for communities impacted by gun violence.
