Queens Borough President Donovan Richards discussed affordable housing in New York City.

With Innovation Queens, the $2 billion plan will add more than 2,500 units for low income households.

A soccer stadium is in the works to be built in Willets Point, along with the biggest affordable housing plan in 40 years to accompany it.

Richards discussed the shutdown of Creedmoor Psychiatric Facility, that sits on 50 acres of unused state land.

He also commented on new shelters being put in place in Queens to house migrants.
