Wayne Ho, president and CEO of the Chinese-American Planning Council, talked about how the nonprofit promotes the social and economic empowerment of Asian American and low income communities.

CPC is the nation’s largest Asian American social services organization.

Ho discussed the state budget and what it means for the AAPI Equity Fund.

He also explained how the mayor’s executive budget impacts the AAPI community. 

CPC has also been advocating for expanding Asian American curriculum in public schools.

Ho discussed how CPC is celebrating Asian Pacific American Heritage Month.
