RALEIGH, N.C. -- Comedian, actress, writer, and podcaster Heather McDonald loves all things celebrity gossip, which is why the recent academic scandal at USC causes her to really light up. 

The USC alumna is taking on the topic in her online YouTube series, as well as her podcast.

McDonald sat down with Spectrum News anchor Caroline Blair ahead of her podcast and comedy show tapings to explain why the scandal fires her up. She also “took on” some of the biggest celebrities in the business, but maybe not in the way you’d think.
