Collectors Con at the State Fairgrounds
The Syracuse Collectors Con will be held at the State Fairgrounds this weekend. The hours are 10 a.m.-5 p.m. daily, with VIPs entering at 9 a.m. and advance ticket purchasers entering at 9:30 a.m. There will be comics, games, collectibles and a number of celebrities on hand. Guests include actors Robert Wuhl ("Arli$$," "Batman," "Bull Durham") and Erik Estrada ("CHIPs," "Sealab 2021"), as well as a number of professional wrestling legends from ECW, WCW and WWE, and many voice actors. Upstate on-ice supremacy at stake again this weekend
The Rochester Americans got the best of their AHL upstate rivals last weekend in a 4-1 win, so the Syracuse Crunch will try to even the score Saturday at 7 p.m. at the Oncenter when they face the Amerks. Take in a little music in Binghamton
The Binghamton Philharmonic Orchestra will perform "In the Beginning" at 7:30 p.m. Saturday at the Broome County Forum Theatre. Daniel Hege serves as the conductor; Rachmaninoff's Piano Concerto No. 3 will be performed during the show. STEM Fest in Utica
STEM Fest, an event celebrating science, technology, engineering and mathematics, will be held from 9:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Saturday at Mohawk Valley Community College's Utica campus, in Francis A.
