One of the most talked about shows of the fall season this year has been Showtime’s “Fellow Travelers.”

The historical romance follows the lives of two gay men who first meet during the height of McCarthyism in the 1950s and spans decades through the AIDS crisis of the 1980s.

The limited series premiered in October and stars openly gay actors Matt Bomer, Jonathan Bailey, Jelani Alladin and Noah Ricketts.

On Monday, the show even scored two Golden Globe nominations: best limited series, anthology series or a motion picture made for television, and best performance by a male actor in a limited series, anthology series or a motion picture made for television for Matt Bomer’s work on the show.

NY1’s “On Stage” host Frank DiLella recently had the chance to sit down with the show’s four stars, who said it’s been an honor to tell a story that focuses so much on LGBTQ history.
