Fulton City Schools will have a new leader starting in July.
The district announced it has hired Douglas Lawrence as its new superintendent. Lawrence has served as assistant superintendent and is the interim superintendent of Liverpool Central School District.
Brian Pulvino, the current superintendent of Fulton, is retiring at the end of June.
Lawrence will be appointed by the Fulton City School District Board of Education in early May and will take on the role in July.
