Presumptive Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton is scheduled to hold a campaign rally Friday afternoon in Tampa, Florida and she could have company.

Sources tell the Associated Press that Virginia Sen. Tim Kaine has emerged as the favorite to become Clinton's running mate.

The announcement could come as early as Friday.

The two campaigned together last week in his home state.

Prior to serving as senator, Kaine spent four years as Virginia's governor.

Sources also say that Clinton has not made a final decision yet and that Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack is still in the fold as well.
