OLEAN, N.Y. -- An Olean woman is facing charges for allegedly stabbing a man during a domestic incident.
Police say 37-year-old Amy Schoonmaker stabbed the 38-year-old on West Elm Street Monday morning.
He was taken to Olean General Hospital, where he's listed in stable condition.
Officers say when they arrested Schoonmaker and took her to jail she spit in an officer's face.
She's been charged with assault as well as aggravated harassment of an employee by an inmate.
