Activists are calling for Monroe County to take action to save its only low-barrier homeless shelter.
They say Project Haven, an LGBTQ-friendly shelter run by REACH Advocacy, is the only local shelter that accepts people off the street. That includes individuals who lack complete documentation, are on disability or are struggling with their mental health.

Spectrum News 1 has contacted REACH for more information.
