Republican candidate Phil Oliva is hoping to replace incumbent Democratic Representative Sean Patrick Maloney in the 18th Congressional District. Oilva has been endorsed by Westchester County Executive Rob Astorino, who he also works for, as well as the National Federation of Independent Business. Oliva has criticized his opponent for being too close to the Clintons, and says if he is put in office, he wants to strengthen national defense and limit the scope of the federal government.
