FLORIDA — Floridians are preparing for the impacts of Milton, which is expected to become a hurricane in Eastern Gulf.

Theme parks in the Orlando and Tampa areas have hurricane policies in place for those who had vacation plans.

Disney World

If the National Hurricane Center issues a hurricane warning for the Orlando area, or for your place of residence, within seven days of the date you are scheduled to arrive, you can reschedule or cancel your Walt Disney Travel Company Disney Resort hotel packages and most room only reservations (booked directly with Disney) without cancellation or change fees. Most room-only and vacation packages can be modified, or cancelled online, including changes to travel dates.

Those who have products and services provided by third-party suppliers included in the vacation, such as air transportation, hotels, car rental agencies or travel insurance companies, will be responsible for any non-refundable payments, along with cancellation or change fees assessed by those suppliers.

Visitors are asked to stop by Guest Relations or submit their information online to request a return visit. The original admission ticket or order number is required. The request needs to be submitted within one week of the visit.
